Management: Jon Schneider

Jon Schneider, one of the original founders of Jobing, joined the team in 2001 and currently serves as Vice President of Industry Solutions. Bringing a strong recruitment background to Jobing, Jon began his career with the Phoenix team selling job board. His hard work ,and interest in being more hands-on with our clients, led Jon to advance to Market Manager of the Tucson market in early 2002 where he focused his attention on growing the first Jobing market outside the Phoenix area. In June of 2002, he quickly gravitated to the newly launched Jobing.com Career Expo event. Jon’s dedication to creating a positive experience for both job seekers and employers at the expo helped lay the foundation for a promising event business moving forward. After successfully launching the first Career Expos in Tucson, Jon expanded the division, building a nationwide team and launching events in Phoenix, Colorado, California, Florida, Texas, and Nevada. In 2005, after three years of Career Expo sales experience, Jon was promoted to General Manager of the Career Expo business. His responsibilities expanded nationwide, leading the Career Expo Sales team and Event Logistics Managers in fifteen markets from coast to coast. Jobing.com Career Expos were considered the largest recruitment event of its kind in every market it was offered. In 2007, Jon was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where he focused on the growth and development of newly launched Jobing markets across the country. Jon currently acts as Vice President of Industry Solutions, where he manages a team dedicated to providing clients with employment marketing solutions.

Prior to Jobing, Jon gained experience in the recruitment world as an information technology recruiter for an IT consulting firm that specialized in staffing high level software consultants.

Jon received his MBA from the Ken Blanchard School of Business at Grand Canyon University, and his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Jon is currently pursuing an Executive Scholar Certificate at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University; he has attended the Columbia Business School and the University of Wisconsin Madison for Executive Education focusing on coursework in Marketing, Sales, and Management.

In his spare time Jon enjoys spending time outdoors on his mountain bike, traveling the world, and spending time at home cooking a nice meal.
